Schwarzhorn? I did it (apparently) lol. I never thought it would be that difficult! I huffed and puffed to reach the top, where I breathed in the freshest mountain air. And I did it without using walking poles! I self-praise myself for this (Haha, I know it sounds a bit silly, but I've never used them, so I can't say what I'm missing out on! A very classic way of doing things in my book, haha).

The name of the summit, Schwarzhorn, somehow never stuck in my head during the trek; I had to rely on Google to search for it. I blame it on my episode of high-altitude sickness, which I never had before in my life and managed to overcome with some painkillers. After standing on the highest summit in the group north of the Grosse Scheidegg Pass, and also the highest point in the municipality of Brienz, I felt: this is what really matters... yeah... let's sit for a while, take it all in, and then head back down again! That's it. It was that simple and short!

This experience has taught me a lot about life itself—about appreciating the present moment and not needing to have all the answers. It’s about letting life guide us and finding our own path. This magnificent nature humbles me and fills me with gratitude for being able to move my body and achieve something I never dared to do before. I gave thanks right there, far from my comfort zone.

I'm deeply grateful for that experience (thank you, boys and girls!). After the trip, I feel a renewed sense of gratitude for my life. Thank you for tagging me to the trekking, A!!

I may or may not see the people I met during the trip again, but I hope each acquaintance lives a wonderful life and continues doing what they love most. Keep trekking!
